Musical Pen Pal Project

We’ve collaborated with another music school in Chicago for our first Musical Pen Pal Project! Each of our students now has a musical pen pal at Alex’s Music Studio in Chicago, and they’ve already been corresponding!

Alex’s Music Studio found us through our Instagram and reached out to us with this idea. And we’re so glad they did!

Each of our students has filled out a little survey introducing themselves to their new pen pals. The students at Alex’s Music Studio did the same, and we matched up students to pen pals of similar ages or instruments.

Our pen pals are now working hard on composing songs for each other! Over the next month, our students are spending some time in their lessons composing a song for their pen pal to learn. It’s been awesome to see what our students are coming up with!

We’ll be mailing our pen pal compositions at the end of this month and can’t wait to see what our friends in Chicago have for us!
