Description:

Come learn the skills and techniques for playing in a real rock n’ roll band! Little Mission Garage Band is an exciting hands on immersion into the experience of playing with other musicians in a garage band setting. Learn the skills of rehearsing, improvising, playing by ear, and performance practice with music ranging from The Rolling Stones to Taylor Swift. Minimal Experience is required and we are looking for instruments such as Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, and Keyboards. Our class culminates with a live show and potluck!

Previous Experience:

Students should have at least 6 months prior private study on their given instrument and be comfortable reading music on a lead sheet.

Instrumentation:

The ensemble is open to guitar, bass, piano, percussion, & voice students. Pre-formed groups are welcome to enroll.

We offer our Ensemble Classes with tuition as pay-by-donation for everyone! This is our way of offering financial assistance to those who may need it with no questions asked. If possible, donating full class tuition helps keep us running as a small, independent, arts institution, as well as helps to offset tuition for anyone in need. Thank you!
 
Note: You may edit the amount you’d like to pay for tuition when you enroll directly in the enrollment form. Minimum donation amount of $100 per class, which is non-refundable.

Students should bring to each session: their instrument, a pencil, a folder for music, and a re-fillable water bottle.
