Online Session!

Due to current circumstances, this session of Beginning Piano for Kids will be offered entirely online. You’ll meet weekly at class time online using Zoom conferencing software. In our online format, you’ll still be able to interact with your instructor, and they’ll be able to give you valuable individualized feedback. All resources, music, handouts, & class work will be distributed digitally.

Description:

If your child has expressed curiosity in learning piano, this class is perfect for them! Hands-on-keys instruction will allow your child to discover the excitement of piano playing and get them primed to start private lessons. Students will learn the basics of piano playing and musical literacy, all while learning fun songs! Their learning will culminate in a final performance for family and friends to attend at the final session.

Previous Experience:

No prior experience necessary!

  • No Class on Friday, October 23rd.

Class Showcase:

Session 11 is the Class Virtual Showcase! Friends and Family welcome! The performance will start at 4:15 PM after a short rehearsal at 4 PM.

This class is appropriate for children in Grades 1 through 3.

Materials:

Students should have for each session: a pencil and a 3-ring binder for music. Students are expected to practice at least four times a week on a piano or keyboard.
