Open Faculty Positions:

- Piano Faculty (Classical Focused)
- Available to teach at least 3 days per week, any weekdays approximately 1 – 9 PM, and/or Saturdays, approximately 10 AM – 5 PM.
- Piano Faculty (Jazz Focused)
- Available to teach at least 4 days per week, including Tuesdays – Fridays, approximately 1 – 9 PM.

Faculty Requirements
Little Mission Studio Faculty:
- Have at least a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and/or Music Education for their given instrument or vocal range.
- Are active performers in the Bay Area.
- Are passionate about educating musicians of all ages and skill levels.
- Have prior experience teaching private music and group music lessons.
- Have experience and knowledge to teach a variety of musical styles and genres.
- Have been fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.
Faculty Perks
LMS Provides the Following to LMS Faculty:
- Generous compensation for lessons and classes taught.
- Access to our beautiful and well-equipped teaching studios and performance hall for lessons, monthly studio classes, student recitals, and personal practice/rehearsal time.
- Opportunities to collaborate with other faculty and students from LMS.
- Opportunities to write custom curriculum and pitch ideas for new Group Classes or Workshops.
- Marketing, publicity, and visibility on LMS Website, social media, advertising, and publications.
- Full administrative support in enrolling new students, processing payments, and scheduling.
Faculty Expectations
LMS Faculty Are Expected To:
- Engage their students in fun and exciting ways!
- Provide the highest quality music education through both traditional and modern pedagogy.
- Participate in studio-wide events such as recitals, community events, and studio classes.
- Maintain responsibility for their own availability and teaching schedule.
- Actively work to maintain their student population as well as enroll new students at LMS.
- Continually adapt their teaching and curriculum to the needs of each student or class.
- Be responsive to student/parent questions and feedback.
