Little Mission Guitar Ensemble: Kids’ Class

Description:

If your child is curious about playing guitar with others, this is the class for them! Perfect for a variety of levels, this class will cover the basics of playing in a guitar ensemble, exposing children to the fun of ensemble playing. Friends and family can experience their young guitarist’s hard work at the final Class Showcase!

Safety Protocols: 

In order to have safe and productive rehearsals, we’re requiring all Little Mission Guitar Ensemble members to be vaccinated. You will be asked to email us a scan/photo of your child’s vaccination card before the first rehearsal. Masks required in accordance with the most up-to-date local guidance from San Francisco DPH.

Previous Experience:

Students should have had at least 2 years prior guitar instruction.

Final Performance:

Session 16 is the Class Showcase and will be combined with Little Mission Jam Band and Little Mission Singers. Friends and Family welcome!

New! We’re now offering our Ensemble Classes with tuition as pay-by-donation for everyone! This is our way of offering financial assistance to those who may need it with no questions asked. If possible, donating full class tuition helps keep us running as a small, independent, arts institution, as well as helps to offset tuition for anyone financially impacted by Covid-19. Thank you!
 
Note: You may edit the amount you’d like to pay for tuition when you enroll directly in the enrollment form. Minimum donation amount of $100 per class, which is non-refundable.

Students should bring to each session: their guitar, guitar pick, a 3-ring binder for music, and a pencil.
