#MakeMoreMusic – Summer Day Camp: 2023

#MakeMoreMusic

Songwriting, Music Technology, & Composition Camp

Session:

Summer 2023

Description:

Your child will have the opportunity to develop their creative voice using both traditional and modern tools in creating their own music. Students will learn musical concepts including: musical form, storytelling, structure, & more, while utilizing tools and skills in recording, sequencing, effects processing, and looping to come up with their own original music. The camp day will include instruction on songwriting and compositional techniques alongside musical technology skills and mentoring by our faculty to guide students towards completing at least one original work, and a brand new arrangement of an existing song. Bring your child’s musical imagination to life in this week long immersion in the musical creative process!

This is a half-day, in-person camp. Capacity is limited.

Family and friends are invited to attend the final showcase on Friday, July 14th, at 5 PM.

Safety Protocols:

Mask requirements will be in accordance with studio policies at the time, and we will update you as we get closer to the summer. Wind players may need to use a special winds mask like this.
